YUKAKU, a Japanese lacquerware brand, was founded in 2018 by Kentaro Moroishi and Yuko Moroishi after they studied lacquer at the Wajima Lacquerware Technical Training Institute in Ishikawa Prefecture. Their goal is to expand the possibilities of lacquer by using their passion for creating cute, cool, interesting, and exciting pieces of art. YUKAKU produces a wide range of products, including dishes and various lacquerware items, by combining their individual skills and finishing techniques.

The brand is based in Wajima City, and they work together in their studio to create their unique pieces. The entire production process, from woodwork to finishing, is done by hand, giving each piece a unique touch.
