Yanasan Kobo

Yanasan Kobo is a small family-run atelier. It is a minimalist space in Tokyo: a small studio of approximately 7.2 square meters.
The name of the workshop comes from the town where it is located, Yanaka.
Despite being at the heart of Tokyo, Yanaka is a peaceful downtown area with shrines and temples, recommended to anyone tired of the city's busy energy.
At this workshop, with the area's unique sense of atmosphere and time, the Artisan of Yanasan Kobo interacts with clay as if she were raising a child, taking her time to carefully work on it.
Her delicate handwork adds distinct characteristics to the simple designs of her works.
