Yasuhiro Hara

Yasuhiro Hara was born in Saga Prefecture, considered the birthplace of Japanese ceramics.After studying ceramic engineering in college, he held an exhibition of his work in Valencia, Spain.
He currently resides under the vast blue skies of his hometown, where he has set up his own kiln to produce a variety of ceramic tools for everyday use.

His work focuses on stylizing small yet unique moments and spaces found in everyday life.
In particular, his vases enhance the beauty of flowers and fragrances while also exuding a serene sense of presence as a stand-alone piece.
A signature of his work is his penchant for sharp and straight structures while accentuating the texture of the clay, showing how each piece is passionately crafted by hand.
