A square plate that was made by repeatedly folding and stretching the edges of clay. For the foot of the plate, a potter's wheel was used to gently create the elevation as a way to ensure there were no visible seams. The bold brushstroke patterns were done by painting over engobe of varying thicknesses. It is a modern design that shows the creator's dedication to properly displaying the brushed aesthetic.
